Copy specific detail from one spreadsheet to another

    Hi,

I am trying (learning) to code VBA, but need help in this exercise. I want to code a search in the spreadsheet for a specific company.

    Table headings:

    COMPANY_NAME /Date/Last Modified/Contact Name /Telephone /Email /Mobile

I want to run an inputbox, asking the user what company they want to retrieve. The code should then search for all the companies with the=at name, copy all the delails (copy the entire row) and open a new spreadsheet and paste in details. It should retrieve all the companies in th eoriginal list ang present them in a new sheet.

I would be grateful for any assistance in this - I'm just a beginner and apologise it this is considered trelatively simple....

    Thank you ......

So are you saying you want to be able to search by company name, project, contact name and then copy all relevant rows to another sheet?

    EDIT: cross-posted http://www.ozgrid.com/forum/showthread.php?t=93095

    Question .

Yes - I want to build a form, allow the user to select how they want to search, ie.e a radio button for a Search by Company, another radio button for search by Project etc. When they click on the choice, an input box will appear, they enter, e.g. Project Name, and it pulls all the relevant data from the sheet, into a new sheet with only the relevant rows(infio) on trhat project....
