    Select a cell to deselect the shape, place this at the end of the code

    Re: unselect shape

    My learned Excel experts... For all the versatility offered by this program... one would think there would be a very elegant and simply command for deselecting shapes. Such as:

    Selection.ShapeRange.UnselectAll

    or perhaps...

    Selection.ShapeRange.Select = False

    Instead we have to select a phantom cell or some such nonsense. Forgive my insolence. But, if we can Ungroup, why not Unselect?
    Example: Selection.ShapeRange.Ungroup.Select

    Thanks for your patience.

    Re: unselect shape

    What state do you want selection to be in after that?
    Usually when you go to excel a specific cell is selected.
    If you want something done right... find a forum and ask an online expert.

    Re: unselect shape

    I'm not the typical user. I'm creating a game with Excel for test purposes. So, need to select and deselect shapes without having to select cell to do it. Tried Escape Key, but didn't work. Any better solution?
