Macro sub-menu unavailable

Hi all,

I wanted to record a macro to have a look at the generated code but have just noticed that the "Macro" sub-menu from "Tools" is greyed out and unavailable. I can open the VBE window with Alt+F11 as normal but just can't choose Macros from the Tools menu.

To my knowledge nothing has changed on my machine. Any ideas or help would be welcome

Hi vbanoob,

No it wasn't. I rebooted to no avail but then opened excel again and did a Detect and Repair and it has righted itself.
