Directing Excel to cells by relation to others

I have this tedious task to do because I can’t get my hands on the source data. I was hoping to get help automating it.

What I need to do is:
Sum the "totals" column of "personal" rows where "*non-moto*" or "*moto chargebacks*" are the headings (in column B).

The headings are on the totals row in ‘B’, so to find which “personal” to reference you have to look up in column ‘C’. To complicate things, it may not always be there and I need to avoid grabbing from the wrong totals.

If I can get some code/formula to do this one, I’m sure I can modify it for the many, many more like it I have. I think the main thing I need to learn how to do is what is in my title, although I am open to anything.

I hope I explained it enough. Check out the attachment. Please let me know if I didn’t. Thanks!

    Hi

Add the code below to a general module in your workbook, select sheet1 and run. The output formula is in AH1

That was a very creative answer. Thank you so much. I'm sure I will learn a lot from studying this code.
