    Formula string vs. workbook function VBA for speed

    Was wondering of anybody knew off hand whether inserting a formula string which contains workbook functions or creating a sub procedure with the workbook.function method is faster. thanks.

    If you do a little searching,you will find there are plenty of examples on how to conduct timing checks on your code.

    yes i know this but reworking my code would take a very long time just to see if it is faster or not. i was just hoping somebody knew off hand. thanks.
