    Protected data entry

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and would like to say hello, but also have a problem. The title is probably not very accurate but the problem is this: My daughter and son-in-law own a coach travel business, they had a guy in their office who set up several excell worksheets for them. One workbook contained several sheets and entry of details such as name, address, date of travel, etc, etc into the confirmation sheet passed all the details into the other sheets in that workbook so they could produce various documents such as invoice, jobsheet, etc, also the details were passed to a separate workbook that listed all their current bookings. Sadly the guy who did all this is now very ill and will not be coming back, and the difficulty is in putting the details into a live worksheet, things seem to go wrong at this point. I need to create a vba details entry form that will allow alterations to data until everything is correct and then click a button and the data is transferred to the confirmation sheet, the other programming will take care of the rest of the worksheets,
Sorry this is so long winded but I thought I should put some detail in.

    Kind regards

    David

Without any idea of your data layout it's difficult to advise. There's an inbuilt data form that works with tables available from the Data menu or you could have a look at the database form example here:

    Hope that helps.
