How would you generate sequential dates in a column if you entered January 1, (Year) as your first entry and wanted to generate the dates for a given number of years? I enter 1/1/08 in cell A1 and cell A2 becomes 1/2/08, A3 = 1/3/08 .... for five (5) years total. You have all the dates entered through Dec. 31, 2012. Could this be done with any date? Say May 15, 2008 and cell A2 becomes May 16, 2008, etc.

Try this:
A1: 01/01/2008
• Select A1
From the Excel main menu
• <edit><fill><series>
Series in: columns
Type: Date
Stop value: 12/31/2013
• Click [OK]
That will fill in the dates from 01/01/2008 through 12/31/2013

Start at 01/01/2000 and fill in through 12/31/2000....
