Disable "Compile Error" Alert

is there a way to disable the compile error mesage box in vba? I'd still like to see the red syntax errors, but that message box is extremely annoying.

Same question here... "Compile error hidden module", I believe can't be handle even if you will create customize error handlers...

In the Visual Basic Editor, go to TOOLS-OPTIONS

Uncheck the "Auto Syntax Check" check box.

Now, you should not get the error.

aha thats exactly it.

sometimes i need to refer to another section of code before finishing a line so i click somewhere else in the code and that box opens up as if i didnt know there was a line of red code there.
