    warning box macro

    hi guys
    i have a very simple macro
    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    but i need a warning box to come up warning me that i need to put headed paper into the paper tray

    any ideas gratefully received

    Put a line such as:
    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    before the actual print code.

    once again thanks for the reply proton and its exactly what i want but after i click ok it then gives me a run time error 1004
    youve entered too many arguments for this function
    any ideas???

    Please delete the '---- lines and the '<<<, etc.
    The only line you need to add is:
    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    In this case all you need is a short phrase in quotes after MSGBOX

    hi Steve,

    From your comment that the error is "youve entered too many arguments for this function", it appears that one of your ExecuteExcel4Macro strings has too many commas in it. If you open up the VBE, click in the text between Sub & "End sub" & press [F8] to step through the code, which line of code does it actually error on & highlight?

    Try deleting a comma here or there & see what happens ;-)

    Why are you using an "ExecuteExcel4Macro" statement, rather than printing directly from your file using the normal code for Printing which you can probably get by recording a macro of your manual actions?

    it was a case of too may punctuations
