Add, view & update function

Hi all,
I am a beginner at VBa and thus dont know much about the programming side of excel. I have however managed to create an application which need some functions such as add, edit and view functions.

Please take a look at my work til date and any help rendered is greatly appreciated

hi all

this is what my app is supposed to do when its functioning well

allows user to search for surname & country via combobox.
if user selects surname= chan and country =china then the listbox populates and displays all the chan surnamed people in china.

From the listbox, if the user selects one particular person eg.Chan Ai Li, he is supposed to be presented with the particular ChanAiLi.xls spreadsheet

once the user selects the persons name, he has an option to view, update or add... if he clicks view, the above occurs...

if he clicks add or update he is prompted for the username and password.when he logs in, he is presented with a input box. he inputs the values in the box and the particular sheet is updated or data is added to it.

i have all the forms created... the listbox populates when the search criteria is matched but i cant get the particular sheet to open for add or update or view function. please advise/help...thank u!
