Running Excel 2007 on XP. I've specified complete freedom for running macros in the trust centre. Active X is enabled on my computer.
Everything was fine until I installed Office 2007 Ent. It removed excel 2003 without asking my permission and I had to reinstall 2003. The two dont seem to co-exist very happily on this pc. Tried 'repairing' 2007 but that had no effect.
There should be no problem running multiple versions on one PC, I have 2000, 2003 & 2007 on my home laptop.
By the way, the reason we ask you to put a location is simply so that we can see if English is your first language.

did uninstall and re-install of 2007 and problem disappeared
