Excel Instant Messenger

Has anyone made a excel instant messenger?

If so could i please have a look at it, or could someone point me in the correct dirrection to make one of these, there is a sheet out there called E.I.M but this needs access to the d:/ drive of which i dont have

I believe that Valued Forum Contributor Macdave_19 has created one, though I've never actually had the need to use such a utility. There is a discussion about this very subject here.

MaGoo Messenger is Awesome!!! only one way though lol.

one idea would be to populate an access table with the username and message, this would only work on a shared drive, then pull it back through to excel on a regular basis say 30 seconds

any feedback on messenger is appreciated
