Question Remove "TRUE" "FALSE" words from a linked checkbox

I have this form that "we" (with forum help) created. On the sheets where 'present' needs to be checked, after linking the checkbox to the cell it now says "TRUE" or "FALSE". How do I get rid of that? There is a formula that this affects also (just FYI). Thanks in advance!

PS...this form in the VERY near future will get more complex, I figured I'd take it one step at a time.

Taking it one step at a time is sometimes a mistake. You need to consider the BIG changes coming because it will possibly invalidate some solutions you work out now as being inappropriate.

So, unlinking TRUE/FALSE may be the wrong question. How about imagining these sheets in their final form? Are you going to keep adding Checkmark columns for each week on the same sheet and then run some sort of attendance tally on 5 Groups? If so, True/False isn't a problem. In fact it's fine.

Client 1 on 5 Groups could just count the "Trues":

So knowing where you're going actually can help.

If seeing the true/false is visually irritating, change the font color to White.

    Alternatives:
    1. For each ckbx, set the property to: do not move or size with cell, then hide column C,

    2. Change the font color to white,

    3. The reference cell can be anywhere on the sheet and the column hidden.

That's a great idea!! (changing the font color). I will do so right away. I will be posting soon what I want the whole form to do (the complicated part) so you know what I mean. I'm not adding anymore to the individual sheets. The only thing that will change over time are the names of the people in class. Thank you all very much and I will be back very soon with the whole picture.
