Hi,
I have a spreadsheet with 1000's of 3 digit numbers and each one has a underscore in front of it.
HOw can I remove the underscore from each of these 3 digit numbers without doing a find/replace on each different number?
Thanks
Dean

U dont have to do fine and replace on each different number.
Just do find and replace
"In Find box type -- _(undersocre)
and replace box -- Leave in blank

Hi, is there a reason why you cannot use Find / Replace All ?
Is there a reason you can't select ALL the cells with underscores
and use <edit><replace> to remove them?
Example:
A1: _123
A2: _456
A3: _789
Select A1:A3
<edit><replace>
...Find what: _
...Replace with: (leave this blank)
Click the [replace ALL] button
Does that help?
Thank You Shijesh Kumar. You saved my life
