    how to do Bulk find and replace in excel?

    Hi
    i have two excel files one is having around 60000 records and in that i need to find some 100 different numbers and replace with 100 different numbers

    is it possible ? if so how?

    Here is a loop you could work on,
    Have the items to Find in column F
    The items to replace in Column G
    The code will Find and Replace Column A

    am getting Run time Error 1004
    Application-defined or object-defined Error

    i just saved a new file and run the program given by u in Tools-Macros-visual basci editor

    is it the way to do?
    am not aware of this
    i just tried

    Sorry for digging up a old thread, it seemed to be the most relevant to what I was looking for. The code works like a gem. Is it possible to modify the code to incorporate multiple columns which needs to be replaced simultaneously? That is, say Column A, B,C also need to be replaced by the same values.

    Also, can we have the template , say in this case columns F and G , in a separate sheet?

    I am not a macros expert, so if someone can guide me in editing the macro, I would greatly appreciate it.
