Copy a drop down box as string

    Hi Guys,
I'm trying to create a macro to move data from an excel file to a csv. I've finished it but I'm having one problem.

The workbook has some cells formatted as dropdown boxes and when the macro tries to copy them to the new csv I get the following error:
"Object doesnt' support this property or method". I'm guessing this is something to do with the dropdown boxes so how do I get around this?

    Thanks in advance

What kind of drop downs do you mean?
    Hope that helps.

I think they are data validation drop downs using lists seperated via commas.

I just noticed that some cells are locked so I can't tell exactly. Could that be the problem?

    Thanks
