    Excel-linked Powerpoint presentations

    Happy new year all!
    I wasn't really sure where to place this problem;
    I have powerpoint presentation running on video screens throughout the office. They are linked to excel sheets and i have managed to get them to update automatically each time the presentation loops.
    However, is there a method of running a macro (at present it is on a button) each time the linked data is acessed in excel?

    Probably more a case of not understanding your problem.

    do you manually have to press the button at the moment?

    Can you not add an action at the end of the slide show that executes the code.
    You may need to move the code to a routine if it current resides in the click event of an activex control.
    Cheers
