    data validation-Can the source of the validation criteria be dfrom a different sheet?

    Hi!

    have few questions regarding data validation.
    1) Can the source of the validation criteria be dfrom a different sheet?
    2) when choosing a data via the validation criteria can I cause an other cell to change automaticly?
    3) when choosing a data via the validation criteria. can I cause an other call to have the ability of a chose only from other set of data ext?

    Yes. You will need to set your list up as a named range (Insert > Name > Define), for example MyName, and then in your DV dialog box, in the source field use the formula :
    =MyName

    The answer to both these qiestions is yes, but you will need to provide a little more information about what you are trying to achieve.
