    Defining changing ranges with vba

Any suggestions on how to set a macro in excel to define ranges from one set of data that will change each time that data is updated.

I have a query in SQL which gives me a number of records by different regions (grouped and ordered by region name). I want to paste the output of that query into Excel then run a macro that defines a named range for each region name.

    Any suggestions gratefully received!

I think you'll have to provide more details and/or attach a sample workbook. If your data are in tabular format you might be able to use Insert > Name > Create which will do it automatically.
