Can I code Mainframe commands in Excel macro?

    Hi,
I am new to VBA coding. Can anyone tell me how to code mainframe commands in excel macro?
My requirement is to write a macro where the job name will be given in the excel sheet. On double-clicking the job name, the particular job in the Mainframe should get submitted. Just give me a lead to proceed........

    Thank U!

By giving "sub" command in the mainframe command line. Is it possible to give the same command through VBA coding?

What is the current code? Are you using a different program with the MainFrame?

Yes,actually there are many programs coded in Mainframe using JCL. By double-clicking the job name given in excel sheet (something like mfcoe123)the mainframe application should be invoked and that particular JCL program (with given job name) should be submitted.
Still I didnt start coding. I just want to know whether this is possible.
