Search button-cell has lost focus perhaps.

I have some code that is oerated by clicking a button/image on a sheet.
It performs a search based upon what is typed into a fixed cell such as A2.
I have noticed that you have to either click outside the cell so you effectively clik off the cell or hit return.
In otherwords so the cell has lost focus perhaps.

If you dont do this the code will not run when the search command button is pressed, the curser just simply remains blinking in the search cell A2.

Any help would be greatly apprecisated.
