Macro needed to connect to Quality Center

I use QC 9.2 and I wanted to go for a macro connecting Excel to QC and pull defect list from it.

You need to explain a little more, what is QC9.2? You could look up shell commands

QC 9.2 - Quality center Version -9.2 is a Defect Tracking tool.

I need to know whether a macro can be developed to pull defects from Quality ceneter to an excel.
