    using composite names in vlookup

    Hi all,

During my procedure I add the following formule in the, at that moment, active cell:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
In my file I have multiple worksheets, with names that look alike:
eg: Budget P1100, Budget P1200, Budget P1300 etc
In these worksheets there are areas/names that also look alike:
    eg: BudgetArea_P1100, BudgetArea_P1200, BudgetArea_P1300 etc

The code shown above works, but to make the code useable for each worksheet I have added a little code:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
    and changed the formula to:
Please Login or Register to view this content.
The result is the message: #Name?
Changing BudgetAreaName to 'Budget P1100'!BudgetAreaName has the same effect.

If I step through the code and keep the mousepointer over the BudgetAreaName a pop-up appears with the correct name

Is it at all possible to do what I want, or is there a solution (eg adding/removing ', " or something else).

    Thanks for your help
    Hein

So we meet in different places

As I mentioned in my question I tried to solve it with ' and/or "
    I didn't use the &

    Thanks, it now works perfectly
