Would very much appreciate a way to sort by color (either font or background)
in 2008 for Mac. Every method I've found uses a VB module: which of course 2008 doesn't support.
Thanks very much,
Hook

Hello Hook,
Welcome to the Forum!
You will need to use AppleScript to write Excel routines in 2008. I don't know Apple script as I don't have a Mac. This article by Microsoft should give you a stating point.

I appreciate your help Leith.
I'll check out Apple Script and hope it's not too late
to teach an old dog new tricks.
I'm glad I found the forum. I'm sure I'll be back.
Thanks again.

Well, I just looked at Apple Script and it looks like Greek to me. Last time I did any type of programming it was in Fortran on punch cards.
If it's not too much trouble, would anyone help an old man out and write me
a script I can use?
I really need it and I'd be very grateful.
