Price List markup with multiple variables

I have a price list (cost prices) which I wish to markup - the markup amount will vary and depends on the cost amount.

i.e. if an item costs between
£0.01 and £4.99 i wish to add £6 (giving me my selling price)
    £5 and £5.99 I wish to add £7
    £6.00 and £8.99 add £8
etc .....(cost prices up to £120 with markups up to £60) over 1500 indiviual items. See price list attached.

Have you any idea where I start on this formula as most of the markup formulas i have seen work on percentages and not with as many variable as I have.

I am a complete excel beginner and so any assistance is much appreciated.

Re: Price List markup with multiple variables

If you put your lower boundary values in F5 to F24 (0.01, 5.00, 6.00 etc) and your additions in G5 to G24 (6,7,8 etc) then this formula in E5 (copied down) will give you the new figure:

    =D5+VLOOKUP(D5,$F$5:$G$24,2)
