    find blank cells

    how do i get a macro to search for the first blank cell in column A and then insert yesterdays date into that first blank cell and the next 5 cells below.

    for the date, i thought i could use

    I hadn't tested shg's post (code) but one line of code would always be preferrable to multiple lines.

    To put the date in Column A when the first blank is found in Column B, try this:
