Morning all.
I am after a kicking off point, this is what i am trying to do:
I have a number of identical spreadsheets lets say 5 but this will be growing. Each user has their own copy for data entry purposes (have to be like this due access to different servers etc.
What i want to do is write a code to link to a button that will go to each sheet (i have access to all servers) and pull the data back to a master sheet, so it will contain all the data centrally, from their, i can build the analysis and summary.
This is where i need a bit of help, The data entry sheets are continuously in use and are growing by rows constantly, do i get the code to pull the whole sheet each time and return it to the master or only the ones since the last update? I have put an event code in so that every time cell b has data entered it logs in column a the date and time...
Is their a better way? I don’t want to use links or at least ones that update when you open the book as i find them a nuisance, rather have it linked to a button so it can be done on demand?
Does anyone have code that will help me with this?
The data entry sheets are very straight forward, columns A to U basic data entry only using validation lists, the master sheet in structure is identical but contains the data from all the users.
