Distribute values to cells depending on the input value

    hi

I just joined the forum and very happy that i'll be able to post my questions

I've spent more than two weeks on this puzzle without success, so i really hope you guys can help.

    The question:
I would like to distribute values in cells depending on the input value (excel file attached).
This file is a test and basically i've been entering the data manualy. The format is flexible, so it can be reorganisaed.

looking forward for you comments :-)

Re: Distribute values to cells depending on the input value

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

It would be possible to modify the formula in say F7 (Phase 3) of the Test sheet to reflect the number of years, but it's not obvious why the start year is 2011. What determines the start year?

If this was held as a variable in the Input tables then that would provide one solution.

Re: Distribute values to cells depending on the input value

    thanks !

Basically the 'pink coloured' cells from TEST worksheet are connected with another worksheet and will always be a number without decimals. This is the input value (Phase 1). All the other phases should be linked with Phase 1 value and distributed through years depending on the value entered in the INPUT field.

    Does it make sense?
