    auto run macro when open workbook

    Hi I would like to have a workbook, in which a worksheet name"Menu" to list out all the files names in the directory, taken from the cell,A2

    However I wan the macro to run everytime I open this workbook. any idea how to do that

    Open the VBEditor and put this macro into ThisWorkbook Module:

    Then INSERT > MODULE and paste in this code:

    Be sure to edit the path I've highlighted in red, and make SURE your sheet has a sheet called "Menu" in it.

    Save the sheet, close it, then reopen it...enable macros and the list will populate.
