help with forecasting

If I know volume of sales, and have month on month and year on year percentage increase/decrease, how could i accurately forecast projected sales volume for next few months?

I know how to use the forecasting function, but i just dont know if it can take into account may year on year % change as known X's.

the figures dont seem to make sense, any better ways of doing this?
