    Time & date stamp when saving a shared worksheet

    Hello Everyone!

    Im wondering if it is possible to date & time stamp cell A1 when the document is saved, the document is shared.

    go to

    TOOLS > MACROS > VISUAL BASIC EDITOR (or just press alt and F11)
    then go to
    VIEW > PROJECT EXPLORER (or press CTRL & R)

    in the explorer pane (Left hand side) go to
    THIS WORKBOOK (double click it)

    in the code pane (right hand side)

    paste the code

    PS I have no idea if this is how it works in 2007

    I didnt work as a shared workbook though, is there any way around that so I can return it back to a shared doc

    I know of no reason why the macro shouldn't work however i think you need to unshare the file, employ the code, and then share the file again.
