    Reset project on open?

    XL2007, sp1:

I'm a noob to programming in XL, and am teaching myself through a project for manipulating vectors. One thing that has me stumped is that when I open the file in which I'm working, I get a "This action will reset your project..." message.

    Why? Where do I look?

    TIA,

    George

I've attached my training ground. (Hoped there was a simple explanation.)

To get the reset message I've saved and closed the file. Then the first thing that appears when the file is reopened is "This action will reset your project..."

The message occurs when you enable macros, correct? It's harmless, but if you don't want to see it, in the VBE, do Tools > Options > General, untick Notify before state loss.

    Very nice! Thank you.

Does this setting follow the workbook? I expect not. Can it be set in code?

I ask because my goal is to provide this to my students.

    And thanks again.

It may be settable somehow, I don't know. However, when you're debugging, the warning is actually helpful. I leave it set.
