    Wrapping text on formula

    Hi All:

I have a column with a formula that pulls the names of different people. Some names are long so I use the format the cells by checking the wrap text box under format cells.

However it does not seem to work. It just cuts off the end.

Does wrap text work if it is a formula and not actual text? Again, any help is appreciated.

Yes, if the formula returns text and not a numeric value.

the formula is returning text but it does not wrap when the cell width is less than the what the formula returns. I am trying to put together a sample...............

I'm having trouble with a sample. There is a long formula that is returning text but I can't get it to work in the sample.

The first row will wrap but not the ones underneath. Very strange. Hope you can help with this info............

    Sample wrap test

Here it is. In second tab cell d8 wraps but the ones under it do not. I tried copy paste format and other ways, no luck. If you can figure it out that would be wonderful. Again, thanks for the assist......

Wraps fine, Max. AutoFit the row heights.

Of course the easiest solution usually works. I forgot to autofit the row height. Can't see the forest for the trees. thanks again.. Another one solved..........
