Re: excel marco print and clear

Since you post no helpful information about your sheet itself, you can design your own PRINT and CLEAR macros. Set up your invoice and get it ready to print.

When you're ready, click on TOOLS > MACROS > RECORD A MACRO. Give it a special name like "PrintInvoice" and select a shortcut key if you wish, then click OK to start the recorder.

Now go through all the steps to print your invoice manually. When you're done, click the STOP button on the floating toolbar that appeared. You just made a macro! You can test it immediately by pressing F8 and selecting the PrintInvoice macro. Did it print another for you?

Now go through the same process again, start the recorder and create a ClearInvoice macro, let it record you clearing out all the pertinent fields and getting the sheet ready to use again. Stop the recorder when you're done.

Now that you have two macros written, click on VIEW > TOOLBARS > FORMS. Now click on the Button icon and draw a button on your sheet. It will prompt you to select a Macro, so select your PrintInvoice macro and click OK. Highlight the button text and change it to Print Invoice. Press ESC a couple of time to deselect the button, then CLICK it. Your invoice should print again.

Repeat that process to connect your Clear Invoice macro to another button.
