UK Timesheet and Sage Payroll

I was wondering if anybody had any experience of transfering data from excel (2002 in this case) to sage Payroll.

I have a time sheet I wrote for my wife's employer and was wondering if there was an easy way to transfer times from there to sage by importing CSV possibly?

Darren, I have zero experience with Payroll I'm afraid (only Ledger) -- a quick google and found this: http://www.sageforum.co.uk/viewtopic...03576640cfde03 ... it would seem it's dependent on version

Its only an idea, but I know there is import CSV/Export CSV options, but my trials didnt seem to work!

I didnt know if any of the uk people on here had done it, curently the sheet is set up to output printed copy and re-type, but I figured there shoudl be some way to do it!

I was under the impression from the link that what you can import is determined by the version... ie only some versions permit import of timesheet data.

UI'm sure it is possible, if you have Sage support then the help team will guide you on the required layout, etc.

I don't use Sage payroll now so I can't experiment.
