removing duplicate rows

G'Day,

I've searched the forums for a VBA macro that will remove entire rows if data in column K is duplicated. I've found close matches but am having trouble tweaking code to suit my situation.

Can anyone help me with this task?

This will do it. Just select any cell in any column and it will move down the column and delete all the duplicates. Be careful!!!

This solution is excellent as the data doesn't need to be sorted - just change the column reference to suit.

G'day lads. Thanks for the tips and code snippets. I'll give them a crank this arvo as soon as I get a chance.

I've not tried the advanced filter as I didn't know it had a feature in it to remove duplicates. Please advise???

excell2007 has a built in remove duplicates

this is also true if you use custom vba and the same thing is recomended
