    Hello neta,

Here is an example using the File System Object. This works with Excel 2000 and up.

    Hello neta,

If you are referring to the "Creator" property, this is only available on the MAC version of Excel.

    Hello neta,

On the PC, there is no way to know what program created the file. The assumption would be it was created by the application for the file type. In the case of a workbook, it would be Excel.
