    Tab to Fillable Cell

    Hello friends,

Can someone tell how I can restrict the tab keys to ONLY fillable cells such that it goes only to the next fillable cell and not every cell to the right.

    Thanks for your help.

    Re: Tab to Fillable Cell

Hi Use the frst bit of code to set the "Onkey" Event.
The second bit will will run when you press the Tab" key and find the first empty cell in the row selected.
The last bit of code will set the the "Tab" key back to normal.

    Re: Tab to Fillable Cell

    Hello bengaluru,

If you protect the worksheet, you can control which cells the Tab goes to. To do this, first select the cells you want filled. Right click and select "Format Cells...". Click on the "Protection" tab. Look for the check box labeled "Locked". Click the check box to change the setting to unlocked (the check box will be unchecked).

Next, protect the worksheet. On the main menu click Tools > Protection > Protect Sheet... Follow the instructions on the pop up dialog to set the protection. To make changes to the worksheet, you will need to unprotect it first. Afterwards, set the protection again to tab to cells you want.
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross
