    Can't press "Record macro"

    Hi,

I have a quite critical problem trying to start create a macro. I can't even press the record buttom, its just gray. The same is with a couple of other buttons like "visual basic", "Design" and "Macros" etc. Any idea what can be wrong? Do I need to download something before i get started? i'm using the student and home edition of excel 2007

You need to make sure that the Developer tab is available

    Hope that helps.

If that's your usual version, would you please change your profile to agree?

Read the article that I gave you a link to - you need the Developer Tab enabled.

Try re-installing from the CD, choose Repair
