Unhappy Commandbutton created as OLEObject becomes Forms button ?!

I did the following:
1) Record a macro to create a command button from the View-Toolbars->Control Toolbox. The result is similar to this:
Please Login or Register to view this content.
2) Execute the macro, creating a second command button
3) Activate the Design Mode and right-click the first button; 2 options are Properties and View Code, as expected.
4) Right-click the second button. Now, instead of showing these options, new ones appear, such as Assign Macro (grayedout, by hte way, but that's another issue). Wow, these options actually are for buttons created from View->Forms.

WHAT IS GOING ON? I tried this on a couple of computers. Yes, I could use the Forms button but I much prefer the Control button. Please help.

Hello andreco,

o make your posts easier to read, copy, and edit please wrap your code. I did it for you this time. Here is how you can do it next time.

How to wrap your Code
1. Select all your code using the mouse.
2. Click on the # icon on the toolbar in the Message window. This will automatically wrap the text you selected with the proper Code tags to create a Code Window in your post.

3. You can also do this manually by placing the tags
Please Login or Register to view this content.
at the end of the line.
