Unique List 2 or more columns

    Hi,
I'm trying to modify a code written by DonkeyOty that I found here:
    HTML Code:

I have data in columns A and B, and I concatenated Columns A and B in column C, and used the code to make the unique list.
Is there a way this could be done without using column C?
    I've attached a sample file.
    Thanks,
    Xrull

have you understood correctly? why not use advance filer and unique function in that filter.

    list range is A1Lb8
    ciritera range is A1:B1
    choos copy to another location
click "unque records only" in the bottom left
copy to: to some empty cell in the same sheet
    click ok.

do you get what you want. (experiment by adding a duplicate full name e.g robert jones)

    vencat1926,
Sometimes the range of the list isn't static. When I record a macro, and the list length changes, it doesn't work. I'm still experimenting with it.
    I want to automate it.
    Thanks,

This code will use the last column of the dataset +1 instead of C. There should be no other data on the sheet or the code will need amending.

    Hope that helps.

Thumbs up Re: Unique List 2 or more columns

    royUK,
The code made a unique list of the column.
Unfortunately for me, the data is on a sheet with other information. I was trying to modify the code, but that entailed copying the information to one sheet, and making a unique list on that sheet, then copying it back to the original sheet.
I'd appreciate it if you could show me how to amend it instead of moving the data to another sheet, or to a range below the list.
    Thanks,
    Xrull
