    Cool Time Line Macro

Does anybody know if it's possible to create a macro time line. I have 4 milestone dates across 300 jobs. Would it be possible to create a macro that would let me enter the key dates and then it would enter each of the 4 milestones on to a calender in excel. I have the each day for the next 2 years in column A and the jobs along the top.i would liek to enter the key dates and then the fields are auotmatically populated.

    Thanks

    Anything's possible...

So mockup a sample workbook showing the layout and your desired results, point out where the results came from if not obvious in your sample data.

Then click GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to post up your workbook.

    HI

Here is my work book. Column A(campaign number) needs to go across the top of TIME LINE sheet, then for each 'campaign number' there are six dates which will need to be different colours going down the work sheet.

Sorry, but your sheets do not make it clear what you're asking for help on. I just see rows with date/times (are those times needed?) and another sheet with a bunch of dates.

Can you go through step-by-step...what is it you want to do and where, and what/where do you want something to happen.

If you simply amend your sheet with a before/after sort of example, that would be clearest, yes?

Have to admit that's a tough one, at least for me. I spent over an hour trying to imagine a process and was making slow headway. Sorry I won't be able to commit that amount of time to it.
