Macro to replace a character in a cell

    Hi all

I need some code which will replace a "/" character in a cell with a space or a "-". Find and replace does not work as the character is in a numerical string such as "333/4543"

I only need it to work on the active sheet and on cell B18.

    Many thanks for any help

It will work. Click on options and make sure "match entire cell contents" is not ticked.

Find and replace works for me using the string you supplied.

I only need it to work on the active sheet and on cell B18.
Why go to the trouble of coding a character replacement for a single cell?
