Talking Mirror selected cell in another

A macro was submitted in a similar thread, but I have a slightly different problem. I have empty cells, A1:A10, and in cells C1:C10 I have data. If A1 is selected, I would like to be able to click on any cell in colum C and that
info then appears in A1. Then I will select A2, and again, click on any cell
in C1:C10 and that appears in A2 and so on. I do not want cells A1 etc. to
change once populated. This can be a macro as well. Thanks!

    Hello thecdnmole,

If the macro were to load A1 first when the user clicked a cell in C1:C10, and then A2 etc. Would this be a problem? From a programming stand point it easier and more direct.
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

    Try this.

It needs to be pasted into the appropriate sheet tab in the VBA editor.

No, that wouldn't be a problem. What this is is an invoice and staff need to select items from a list of parts to populate the lines. I used a "list", but they found it too long and repetative always having to scroll thru the list looking for an item. If I have the list beside the form, they could just click on the items in the list to populate each row on the invoice. Thanks for the help!!

Re: Mirror selected cell in another

Macro works good on a blank spreadsheet, but I need a bit more help. The cells I need populated on my invoice are G17:G29 and the source data to click on will be found in cells P1:P50 and T1:T50. I have tried to change the macro to suite, but I am unfamiliar with macro programing and am not having any luck. Would you be so kind to change the macro provided with the cells indicated in this text. Greatly appreciated! Thanks again!!

Re: Mirror selected cell in another

One more request! The invoice is off the screen when selecting from the parts list. I would like to merge 4 cells and have a countdown number in that cell. It would start off at 14 and count down as items are selected, otherwise they may get click happy and run out of room on the invoice. Okay, I am going all out here, would it be possible to make this "countdown box" move with the sheet, so it's always visible? Thanks!
