Question Finding characters in a cell

    Hi there,

I am pretty new to macro's and I am currently trying to copy a cell's text from one sheet to another in the same position.

The only sticking point I have is that I only want the copy to occur if the cell doesnt contain a comma, but then if it doesnt contain a comma I want to seperate the cell text out into adjacent columns on the new sheet(i sort of have this part already working in my spilt_cells function).

I have tried using the line below to check for comma's but to no luck so far:

I've attached my spreadsheet anyway if you would like to have a look.

Any sort of help would be great as I have been racking my brains over this one for a while.

    Cheers,

    Jag

    What's in the variable strCellValue?

Perhaps you should use the activecells value
