How to convert XXh XXm XXs into simple number?

    Hello,

Hope someone can help me out.
Possibly might be easy, but I am trying to convert wrap up time in excel from the format Xh Xm Xs where "X" is the number, to showing only numbers no text. So then I can format it to count "1" if it is less then 40sec for example.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    This

    =TIMEVALUE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(A1,"h",":"),"m",":"),"s",""))

will convert your data into a format that excel recognises as a time, and can handle.

    Is this what you need?
    Rule 1: Never merge cells
    Rule 2: See rule 1

"Tomorrow I'm going to be famous. All I need is a tennis racket and a hat".
