How to create a forumla that selects the right most column, and bottom-most cell

    Hi,

I have two categories of columns. One is 60# and one is 50#. I am trying to create a formula (possibly an IF formula) that recognizes when a job uses 50#, pull the paper from a column of 50#. Likewise, I need it to pull the bottom most cell until the resources are eventually used up. (ex. c32 is the bottommost cell however when it is pulled for a job and put into another sheet, the bottom most cell would be c31.)
Then I need it to move onto the next column.

This seems pretty complex, I hope it is possible.

    Thanks,

    Joe

Hi Joe, and welcome to the forum.

To reference the last used cell in a column you can use something like:

I'm sorry but I am not getting this. I uploaded my sheet. You can see that column A has 4 entries in it. I want a formula to automatically take the bottom-most number out, and put it somewhere else, say Column A sheet 2. When I used your equation it didn't like the end variable. Is this supposed to be a cell or column?
