macro to save as xlsm, insert column and forumlas in table

I download dozens and hundreds of data sets from a particular website.I would like assistance in creating a macro.

The first challenge is that the download is in .xls format, and needs to be saved as an .xlsm. (Note the attached example was originally an .xls)

Desired functions:

1. "Save As" .xlsm
2. Create new tab in worksheet and copy copy contents of orig tab to it.
3. Insert a new Column "A"
4. Populate Column "A" with formula.
5. Delete original contents of O, P and Q
6. Populate new columns O through V.
7. (then perform a function for which we already have the VBS code compiled)


One question of course is.... if the original file is .xls, how do I "add" a macro to do the above?
