    Calculate totals over a date range

    I am trying to calculate a total of a supplier between 2 dates. The total must fall in between the entered dates but the dates can be any given date and not limited to the dates in the supplied list. See attached scaled down example?

    Grateful for some help as I am stuck. I tried advanced filter but I got stuck on the variable dates.

    Hopefully it can be solved via a formula?

    Thanks

    Re: Calculate totals over a date range

    One approach: DSUM function

    Other Options: SUMPRODUCT
    =SUMPRODUCT(--(A5:A28=A2)*(B5:B28>=B2)*(C5:C28<=C2)*(D5:D28))

    or Pivot Table
