Query Data in hidden rows/columns with Query Box

    Hello all,

New member to the forum, and first post out of necessity.

First, let me start by saying that I am a complete neophyte when it comes to excel programming or advanced functions. I know how to put information into a worksheet, and some basic SUM functions, but thats about it.

What I need is someones help in creating a workbook that, when opened, displays a box which allows a user to input a value which if found in any rows in Column A, returns a value from the corresponding row in Column B, and vice versa. I would like the data in both columns to be hidden and protected, and the user should only see the box.

I really have no idea where to start, or even if I've worded my question properly, and if I'm out of line in any way, please let me know.

Also, I would've run a search before asking, but I have no idea what to search for

    Kind Regards,

    VincetOmnia

Re: Newbie question, probably an easy answer

    Hello VincetOmnia,

    Welcome to the Forum!

Please change your title something more relevant to your question. A better title might be "Input data in hidden rows with an input box".

If you are not sure how, take a few minutes to read over the Forum Rules to find out how.
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross
